Leading the change – Fostering farming connections in Wimmera

This video speaks to farmers and farm advisers in the Wimmera (a sub-region of the Grampians) about their perceptions of on-farm carbon management and how collaboration and connection can help foster change.

It’s recommended starting a local farmer discussion group that regularly met with industry experts to increase knowledge and awareness.

This video is part of the Carbon Initiative Program, a $2 million investment across 15 projects to explore novel approaches to carbon storage, greenhouse gas emission reduction and emission avoidance, as well as methods to drive awareness, overcome barriers and develop market pathways for farmers, fishers and foresters.
