The aim of this project is to provide AgriFutures Australia with the research to develop standard operating procedures (SOP) for the best practice use of non-penetrative captive bolt to achieve insensibility prior to the humane euthanising of dependent young under the National Code of Practice for the Humane Shooting of Kangaroos and Wallabies for Commercial Purposes.
Individuals or organisations making a submission are required to familiarize themselves with the application procedure, the Corporation’s overarching goals and strategies, the goals and strategies of the relevant R&D program and the specific priorities for R&D for the year for which the proposal is being submitted.
We also welcome and encourage your collaboration with other research providers to build the critical research mass necessary to meet our objectives.
The Kangaroo and Wallaby Dependent Young Stunning RFQ closes Monday, 18 July 2022 at 3pm (AEST).
