Summary

Honey Bee and Pollination Mid-Term Review

The AgriFutures Honey Bee and Pollination Strategic RD&E Plan 2020-2025 is nearing its midpoint and a review is required to assess performance and alignment of investments with the plan. The mid-term review will provide levy payers, AgriFutures, and other stakeholders with detailed consideration of investment and project guidance for the balance of the plan. The preliminary mid-term review document will then be refined using stakeholder feedback. The review will identify investment gaps and make recommendations in relation to future investment (e.g., possible support for Plan Bee). A complete document will then be provided for comment prior to finalisation and presentation to both the Honey Bee and Pollination Advisory Panel and industry

Chicken Meat Economic Impact Assessment
This project will provide an economic impact assessment of investment in the AgriFutures Chicken Meat 2019-2022. The Chicken Meat invests breeder levies and matching Commonwealth contributions:
1. Improve food safety of Australian chicken meat.
2. Develop and implement measures to improve industry impact on the environment.
3. Improve chicken meat production through the whole supply chain.
4. Improved ability to meet consumer needs.
The economic impact assessments will use cost-benefit analysis and be completed in a way that is consistent with the Cross-RDC Impact Assessment Program.
