Summary
This project will scan, review and consolidate information on spacebased technologies with the potential to benefit Australia’s farmers, fishers and foresters. The project will investigate three main components of spacebased technologies – remote sensing, connectivity and geolocation – in addressing challenges facing agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors. Within each component, the project will explore existing technologies and use cases, enduser uptake and the future technologies that can be developed or transferred from adjacent industries. The outcomes of this project will be applicable to a range of sectors in agriculture, fisheries and plantbased industries.
