Summary

This project aims to build the knowledge and skills of truffle growers in sustainable pest and weed management.
The project will produce a series of information packages for new and established growers to adopt and move towards more sustainable practices in orchard floor management. The integrated pest and disease management manual completed as part of PRJ-009832 will be updated at the conclusion of this project.

Objective Summary

To identify a range of sustainable options for truffle orchard floor management focussing on weed management, litter management, and pest-free habitat. Adapt techniques from other crops that relate to the truffle orchard and prioritise in terms of expected effectiveness and practical application.
