This project will provide a summary report that determines the need and benefit for Australian agriculture to monitor and report progress towards, and impact on achieving, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Individual objectives that will be fulfilled in order to achieve these overarching goals are as follows: Inform the extent to which Australian agriculture is currently monitoring and reporting against the SDGs Identify global best practice and use cases on reporting their agricultural sectors contribution to SDGs and the benefits in doing so Ensure Australian agriculture’s competitiveness and sustainability to enable longevity across the industry Inform how Australian agriculture could consider monitoring and reporting against the SDGs, and the benefit and return including options for reporting.
