Flood irrigated tropical timber trials in the North of Western Australia

Summary

Sixteen trials have been chosen for measurement and analysis. The trials were established over a 10 year period between 1990 and 2000. The trials were set up to investigate sandalwood silvilculture and to investigate possible alternate longterm hosts. A short description of each trial is detailed below: 1. 8B(1) –High value host selection for sandalwood P1994 2. 8B (5) Host Selection Trial – Gmelina / Khaya P1993 5. 8C EKD 2 Intermediate Host Selection for sandalwood P1990 7. 8CEKD 4 High Value Timber Trial P1994 8. 8C EKD 5 Host Selection Trial for sandalwood P1991 9. 8D1 (A) – Host selection trial and sandalwood P1993 10. 8D1 (B) Host Selection Trial and sandalwood P1993 11. 8D1 (C) High Value Timber Trial P1997 13. 8D2(C) High Value Timber Trial P1996 16.
