FAO Poultry Technical Working Group

Summary

The project entails participation in a technical advisory group (TAG) convened by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) to develop a methodology for conducting life cycle assessment (LCA) for the global poultry sector and other livestock sectors. The broad objective for the FAO is to benchmark the environmental performance of the global poultry sector, identify environmental impact hotspots within the production supply chain and provide knowledge to promote continuous improvement.
