Development of research protocols for the export hay industry

Summary

To identify where trial design and implementation criteria can influence variability and therefore accuracy of results and to develop standard protocols to assist R&D and the accuracy and applicability of results.

Program

Export Fodder

Research Organisation

Agrilink Agricultural Consultants Pty Ltd

Objective Summary

The research will be conducted in two parts a. Identify where trial design and implementation criteria can influence variability and therefore accuracy of results. Determine from R&D practitioners and industry what parameters affect accuracy and if thedevelopment of standard protocols would assist R&D and the accuracy and applicability of results. b. If stage (a) indicates a need then to create a uniform set of protocols for the implementation management sampling and sample management for research& development for the export hay industry. To verify or investigate variability and compare methodologies using field trials. To provide a framework for the future direction of research for the hay industries
