Objective Summary

To develop agreed Environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies for cotton, sugar, pork, poultry, and meat and livestock production systems. The LCA methodologies will mainly focus on water and energy use and greenhouse emission impacts. The LCA methodologies will be aimed to identify and quantify ecoefficiency improvements in the primary production systems. The LCA methodologies would guide and inform future ecolabelling projects.
