Summary
The proposed research addresses the problem of variability in production through the establishment of a replicated clonal trial, which will serve as a key resource in determining the relative contribution of genetic and environmental variation in the variability of crop production identified by producers. The clonal trial will comprise of replicated clones from a number genotypes that will be established across 3 sites. The clones represented in the trial will be selected from highly productive trees derived from the clonal seed they produce (Elliot pers. comm. 2014)
