Objective Summary
1. Develop a detailed national crosssectoral strategy to drive primary industries climate change research, development and extension activity in Australia that supports longterm climateresilient, productive, environmentally and socailly sustainable landscapes, and aligns and underpins the NRDEF strategies and a communicaiton plan to support promulgation of that strategy. 2. Facilitate the implementaiton of the CCRSPI Research Strategy. 3. Maximise efficient and effective use of resources to address the CCRSPI Research Strategy through greater coordination and collaboraion across primary industry research, development and extension agencies and existing initiatives. 4. Represent the primary industry climate change research, development and extension comunicity's needs, activities, outputs and outcomes to governments, industry and the broader community. 5. Provide a communications hub for primary industry climate change RD&E related inforamtion and knowledge. 6. Provide leadership for the primary industry climate change RD&E community.
