1. Improve connectivity across all aspects and areas of the industry to do with R&D. This is to include growers, processors, product developers, marketers, retailers and customers.
2. Inform RIRDC and other government bodies, as a single industry voice, on R&D issues and outcomes involving the Native Food Industry.
3. Provide a means of interaction both within the industry and with the general public on native food R&D topics.
