Summary

This study will increase our understanding of TTO’s anti-tumour properties, and should a potential anticancer agent be identified, is likely to stimulate further research into TTO and may lead to the development of a novel chemotherapeutic drug for cancer.

1. Optimise the in vivo administration of topical TTO treatment in subcutaneous tumour bearing mice to establish its maximum efficacy.

2. Identify and investigate the in vivo mechanism of action of TTO on tumours.
