  • Project start date: Tuesday, July 1, 2003

  • Project completion date: Wednesday, September 24, 2008

  • National Priority: NEPI-Feasibility studies and industry literature reviews

Summary

(a) To develop analytical techniques to analyse for saponins flavonoids coumarins and diterpenes found in Dodonaea viscose var Angustifolia. (b) To determine levels of each constituent group in various plant sections and determine the effects of some variables such as growing location (c) To test extracts with a known biochemical matrix for antiinflammatory and antibacterial properties.
