Summary

The aim of this project is to contribute to the achievement of financial sustainability, productivity, and on-farm benefits for farmers through education and aiding uptake of ag technologies with reference to
Better decisions around timings, reduction of and more efficient chemical usage, and resistance management.
Ag-tech solutions to water use efficiency.
Use of NDVI imaging
Developing a plan to utilize available technologies.
The program will consist of guest speakers and demonstrations at our Buckleboo Farm Improvement Group (BFIG) Annual Crop Walk day and a follow up day in 2022.
Guests are Bilberry Ag ( intelligent agriculture technology) speaking on and demonstrating Green on Green camera spraying applications, Jessica Koch of Breezy Hill Precision Ag Services, speaking on using your data efficiently and effectively, where to start, practical ag tech solutions to common issues, and James De Barro / Shane Oster of The Alpha Group, speaking on ag-tech solutions to water use efficiency.
Follow up day in 2022 with Jessica Koch, speaking on integration of ag tech into seeding applications. This day will also include time allocation for individual growers to speak regarding their uptake from the first day and workshop and for questions and issues to be discussed.
