Summary

The objectives of the project are:
– Appoint Poultry in Schools Coordinator for the South Australia who will support new coordinators for Victoria & Western Australia.
– Use the competition to provide school students and teachers factual information on the poultry industry
– Strengthen community and consumer confidence in poultry products and practices
– Promote the poultry industry as a sound career opportunity

Objective Summary

The Poultry in Schools competitions were developed to ensure that school students learn about the poultry industry, the job opportunities and obtain experience with poultry through running of small poultry demonstration activities at their schools.
