A review to determine the current situation of IPM in the pasture seed industry


The proposed project is to determine a baseline understanding of what the current status of pest management practices is in the pasture seed industry. The investigative study needs to determine what is actually been done in terms of research and practical application with respect to pest management through a literature review and interviews.

The project aims to investigate Australia's pest management strategies in the pasture seed industry as well as other commodities such as horticulture, coarse grains and cotton and how they apply to pasture seeds industry. The project will assess the current status of IPM in Australia in terms of how it is implemented, how successful it is and what is planned to be done in the future. The study will determine problem areas.
