This study is a research project for AgriFutures Australia to support the development of new and emerging rural industries that can meet changing demand and make a valuable economic, social and environmental contribution to Australia. The project identifies and provides comprehensive insights into new and emerging industries with demonstrated, strategic potential for the Australian economy.
This study involved a broad scan of industry opportunities with regard to global trends and local production, processing, commercialisation and trade potential. It aims to provide a series of in-depth, practical insights for 25 industries with potential turnover of $10 million or more.
The study was completed by Coriolis Australia, and this report represents Stage I of their detailed insights that complement the overview report.
