This RIRDC research benefits the Australian poultry industry by improving the ability to monitor coccidiosis vaccination programs as well as providing additional tools for the diagnosis and investigation of coccidiosis in poultry. It describes the development and validation of improved diagnostic tools for the diagnosis of poultry coccidiosis.

The report is targeted at both meat and egg producers in the Australian poultry industry. The improved diagnostic tools developed will benefit farmers, veterinarians and commercial producers of coccidia controls (vaccines and coccidiostats).
